SHOPPING AT WESTGATE LIFESTYLE UNDER THE RED LIGHT SYSTEM

In line with the New Zealand Government’s requirements, Westgate Lifestyle will operate under red light from 11.59pm on Sunday 23 January 2022.

 

TRADING HOURS:

Normal trading hours at Westgate Lifestyle will continue.

  • Monday – Saturday:  9am – 5:30pm
  • Sunday:  10am – 5:30pm
  • Public Holidays:  10am – 5:30pm

 

Vaccine Passports

My Vaccine Pass is the official record of a person’s COVID-19 vaccination status for use in New Zealand.

From 11:59pm on 4 April 2022, there will be no requirement to use My Vaccine Pass. Until 4 April, the current restrictions remain — but after this time, the new capacity limits will apply to everyone.

After 4 April, businesses are still able to use the vaccine passport system if they would like to.

WHAT’S OPEN?

Everyone! In the red setting, we expect general retail, restaurants and cafes, cinemas and entertainment, close proximity business to be operating at LynnMall.

The way that each retailer will operate will depend on what kind of business they are!

 

YOUR SAFETY AND WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN SHOPPING WITH US:

FACE MASKS:

A face mask is required to be worn in-centre at all times; however, you do not need to wear a face mask outdoors.

A face covering will need to be an actual mask and attached to the head by loops around the ears or head. This means scarves, bandannas, or t-shirts are not to be used.

 

QR CODES:

The centre has a NZ COVID Tracer QR Code at all entrances as well as at centre bathrooms and amenities. From 11.59 pm on March 25, there is no requirement to scan in or for a business to display a QR code poster or have mandatory record keeping.

You may continue to scan the QR codes around the centre if you wish.

 

MANAGEMENT OF CUSTOMER NUMBERS:

While we are operating under Red Light, the number of people in the Centre at any one time must be monitored and limited in accordance with the requirements of the New Zealand Government.

Each individual retailer at Westgate Lifestyle will monitor the amount of people in their store. If a store is nearing capacity then you may need to queue outside the store, following the social distancing guidelines.

 

CUSTOMER WELLBEING:

At Westgate Lifestyle keeping our shoppers, community and staff safe is our priority.

  • If you are feeling unwell or have any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms we ask you to please stay home.
  • We will continue to follow Ministry of Health guidelines and we encourage workers and shoppers at Westgate Lifestyle to contact the Ministry of Health’s Healthline 0800 358 5453 for COVID-19 advice and information.

 

QUEUING:

Stores may need to manage the numbers of customers entering the store to meet their health and safety requirements.

If you are required to queue outside a store we ask that you queue parallel to the store front and keep common mall space as clear as possible. Please follow the direction of the store team.

 

SOCIAL DISTANCING:

Signage will be located throughout the Centre reminding you to keep a safe distance from others.
