LETS HEAR IT FOR THE GIRLS

Lifestyle

21 March 2018

March is a month of many happenings. For starters, it’s the month in which International Women’s Day is celebrated. Perhaps it’s time to buy something for your partner, for the women in your life who inspire you, or for yourself. There’s plenty that’s wonderfully feminine, fun, sassy, or simply practical to choose from.

My line-up of suggestions includes a wonderfully pink Buddha (for the Goddess within), an also-pink drinks bucket (we all have women to toast) and some stylish boxing gloves (because many women we celebrate on International Women’s Day had to fight for their rights. OK, maybe they didn’t need to pack any physical punches, but a fighting spirit certainly helped.) I’m also drawing your attention to kettles and mugs, because I love the Irish proverb ‘”A woman is like a tea bag – you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.” We’ll drink to that!
