TREND TO TRY: ANIMAL PRINT

Fashion

Sometimes a print comes through in a season that you can’t ignore.

And so far in 2019, animal print seems to be where it’s at!

The great thing about this print is that there are not only different versions of it (colours and styles) BUT you can find practically any clothing item or accessory in animal print.

This means that no matter what your shape, size, style or budget, if animal print is calling your name, there will be something there for you.

And to help you kick-start your new obsession, I’ve put together a bunch of my favourite styles, plus added a few tips on how to work animal print into your existing wardrobe.

Styling tips

  1. If you’re not sure, start with accessories

The beauty of a print like this is you’ll find heaps of shoes, or bags or even earrings and scarves that hit the trend button but mean you don’t have to go full head to toe.

Start with a shoe, or earrings, and pair it back with neutrals.

  1. Team it back with neutrals

One of the issues that heaps of my personal styling clients have with prints is that they’re not sure how to match them back with other things.

Stick to neutrals – black, white and denim are a good place to start.

  1. Choose the print that suits you.

This print is colour-based so sometimes the traditional animal print might not suit you – so look for a colour variation that does.

There are heaps of different black and white versions, or a grey-based leopard print. I’ve even seem some fab red and black versions!

Now remember, if animal print isn’t your thing, that’s totally okay! Fashion would be boring if we all wore the same thing.

But if it is something you want to try, I hope you’re inspired to give it a go!

Until Next Time,

Happy Shopping
