Get friends and family together and make some memories this summer at The Base!

For four fun weekends with the whole family, we have your ticket to the best activities in The Tron, and they’re all happening on the green* (next to the playground). Hosted by us and enjoyed by you, all activities are free, and we’ll have beanbags available for you to soak up the fun!

 

Endless Summer Weekend 1 | Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 February | 10am – 4pm

Join us for fun family games! Play giant chess, draughts, snakes and ladders, pick up sticks, Connect 4, noughts and crosses, and more! All you need to bring is your sunscreen (and your competitive side!)

 

Weekend 2 | Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 March | 10am – 4pm

Bring family and friends down on Saturday and stake out a swingball set to show off your backyard tennis skills.  Then on Sunday, we’ll also host The Base Summer Swingball Slam, a tournament to find the best of the best with some great prizes up for grabs.

Have you got what it takes to win the Swingball Super-Slam?! Join us for a fun day with friends and family and enjoy swingball sets on the green on Saturday, and smash out a win on Sunday for our Super-Slam tournament!

You’ll need to register online to compete on Sunday, but everyone is welcome to watch and there will be swingball sets free for friendly play too!

The Swingball Super-Slam Tournament is divided into age groups who will play off in a 16-player death tournament! Age groups, times, prizes as follows (free to enter);

• Ages 3-5 inclusive, from 10am – 11am, Sunday 17 March. All players will win a prize!*
• Ages 6-8 inclusive: Playing 11am – 12pm. Winner receives a prize*
• Ages 9-12 inclusive: Playing from 12pm – 1pm. Winner receives a prize*
• Ages 13-16 inclusive: Playing from 1pm – 2pm. Winner receives a prize*
• Ages 16+/adult: Playing from 2pm – 3pm. Winner receives a prize*.

Weekend 3 | Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 March | 10am – 4pm

How does free mini golf sound?! Take the challenge and come out on top in our nine hole mini golf, suitable for the whole family. We’ll also have other activities for you to enjoy!

 

Weekend 4 | Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 March | 10am – 4pm

It’s a circus celebration! We have extra-fun carnival games and circus workshops for you to enjoy; free, and suitable for clowns of all ages.
