BEAUTY ADVISOR | THE BODY SHOP

The purpose of your role is to create authentic experiences for your customers and play an integral role in bringing The Body Shop brand purpose to life in your store.

In your role you will make a positive impact on your team and store through effectively engaging in our three pillars of Customer First, Purposeful Entrepreneur and Joyful Collective. You will be highly engaged, motivated and collaborative with your peers and managers. At The Body shop, we want to disrupt the retail landscape by being a force for good for our people, our customers and our planet. The Beauty Adviser reports to the Store Manager.

 

CUSTOMER FIRST

  • Deliver authentic experiences for your customers by displaying a customer focused approach and goingout of your way to create memorable experiences.
  • Take initiative to learn more about our products and ingredients, actively participate in upskilling activities to grow consultation and demonstration skills.
  • Be a brand ambassador by being an advocate about our brand and products.
  • Actively participate in all TBS partnerships and campaigns and engage in story telling of our CFT partnerships with your customers.
  • Attend all rostered training days and meetings, and completion of our Mind, Body and Soul program.
  • Be open and willing to receive daily coaching and feedback from your Store Manager/Manager on Duty.
  • Build your customer base through our loyalty (LYBC) program, meeting all associated KPIs.

PURPOSEFUL ENTREPRENEUR 

  • Take an active role in supporting the store achieving sales and KPI’s goals.
  • Be prepared and on time for all rostered shifts to ensure the smooth running of the day.
  • Support management in tasks to provide a memorable shopping experience for customers with strong visual and house-keeping standards.
  • Efficiently complete inventory practices including deliveries, replenishment and other ad hoc stock processes.
  • Comply with all TBS Health and Safety practices and always work with the safety and wellbeing of yourself, your customers and your colleagues at the front of your mind.
  • Take initiative to know your store and customers through engaging with all company- and store- based communications.

JOYFUL COLLECTIVE

  • Be open, honest and collaborative with your peers and Store Manager, and be willing to contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Actively engage in all TBS campaigns and educate your customers about our community fair trade programs and promote our cruelty free stance.
  • Participate in the completion of Community Project hours
  • Practice sustainably by implementing the TBS Sustainable Guide for stores.
  • Be an activist and support our culture to live and breathe the TBS values of ‘We are a feminist brand’, ‘Business can be a force for good’, and ‘Everyone is beautiful’.
  • Be agile, tenacious and optimistic in your everyday and always be a team player
