Northlands is proud to be a supporter of Pink Shirt Day.

Pink Shirt Day started in Canada in 2007 after two students stood up for another student who was harassed for wearing pink. By wearing a pink t-shirt on Friday 20 May, you’re showing you’re committed to creating a kinder, more inclusive Aotearoa where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, religion or cultural background.

You can get the official tee at Cotton On Body Northlands now. 100% of net proceeds from t-shirt sales go to the Mental Health Foundation so they can raise awareness about bullying prevention, fund education workshops and supply thousands of free resources that promote inclusive workplaces, schools and communities.

Do your bit to support the cause and celebrate Pink Shirt Day within your community. You can access all the Pink Shirt Day resources HERE

Join the movement to Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora – Speak up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying!
