It's school holiday time already!?

Kids having fun these holidays

Wow – where has the time gone. As usual, the first few months of the new year have flown by and now it’s time for the first set of school holidays – with barely any time to plan things to keep the kids entertained (and out of trouble). Lucky for you we’ve got a handy list of things that’ll do just that!

READ

Being on holiday is no excuse to not keep those little minds busy. Get one of these books for the kids and let them fall into a magical fantasy world, sure to hold their attention for hours. Little work, large reward!

Books to read in the holidays

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl, Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Grandpa’s Great Escape by David Walliams, Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend all from Whitcoulls.

WATCH

If you need to get out of the house but the oncoming winter chill prevents you from spending the day outside, then HOYTS is your place. There’s a bunch of new movies out, not to mention the perfect excuse to have all the treats… popcorn, ice cream, frozen coke… the list goes on! Our top movie picks to give the kids an awesome theater experience include Captain Marvel, DUMBO, Five Feet Apart and The Lego Movie.

In-centre, you’ll find all of their favourites, and we reckon they’ll love these treats the most, handpicked by us as your school holiday must-haves!
