MUST-TRY DISHES FROM GOODE BROS

There really is something Goode for everyone at LynnMall's Goode Brothers!

Goode Brothers has set the standard of good local eats in suburban West Auckland with their take on classic Italian dishes and fresh pasta. Conveniently located within a 1 minute walk of major public transport services and offering ample parking you’ve got the option of parking up to grab a bite, as well as commuting in to enjoy the great wine selection! You could even make a night out of it by strolling around the shops after, AND you can also order the food through UberEats to have delivered to your doorstep! So, what’s Goode?

Pasta

It’s cool to know all the pasta at Goode Brothers is made from fresh ingredients onsite daily and while KFC’s 12 herbs and spices are still a mystery the good guys at Goode are sharing theirs! Offering an exclusive pasta school they’re even willing to teach you how you can get the real deal at home. Full 90 minute classes are available weekly for those budding Masterchefs and I’m personally excited to know that I may be able to do better than a ready-to-boil tortellini! You can also book in sessions for the kids these school holidays – click here for more info.

Pizzas

With a range of “traditional”, “classic” and “premium” options, the pizza at Goode has a topping combination for everyone… Seriously! My favourites include the pesce e carne from the premium selection (if you’re feelin’ a tad flash) with prawns, courgette ribbons and tarragon fraiche as well as the funghi (for those after a great staple) with roast field and button mushrooms and truffle mascarpone. The fresh Goode Brothers vino made on site make for a great meal and wine combination with Rose, Pinot Gris and Merlot among some of the choices available. Vino and pizza = the dream.

Dessert

For those with a major sweet tooth (like me!) the dessert menu was the first thing I asked for on arrival, and I tell you it did not disappoint. The pane dolce is a play on French toast doused in pomegranate syrup and mascarpone with apple and rhubarb. The perfect combination of sweet and savoury I’d definitely reach for again. And the chocolate torte! Literally a thick slice of everything good and the reason I would gladly ditch any plans for a summer body because every bite was heaven! Chocolate delice, chocolate brownie, chocolate caramel sauce, mascarpone… Wait, did I say chocolate? What is life without a bit of indulgence! #TreatYoself

With Reading Cinemas in the vicinity at just $10 a standard ticket and the glowing fairy lights of The Brickworks, it’s hard to want to venture anywhere else! Ditch the hustle and bustle of the big city ‘cause suburban eateries like The Goode Brothers have taken my front seat!
