TOP 5 FABULOUS KNITS

Fashion

13 August 2018

Spring fashion may be slowly creeping into stores but winter is still well and truly in the air.

Knits are such a great way to not only keep warm and layer up when it’s chilly, but as the temperatures warm up, they can still be a useful part of your spring wardrobe.

If you want versatility out of your knit, it’s important to look at the fabric composition (you can check that on the inside tag of the garment).

Wool blends are going to keep you super-warm in the cold, but might start to get too hot if you are layering up, or when the temps warm up.

A cotton or viscose blend is always a great option for an everyday knit. Often they are a finer knit too, so they layer well under blazers and jackets.

Knits don’t always have to be the outer layer of a winter look either. Treat a fitted knit like a “winter blouse or tee” and tuck into a midi skirt or pop in under a blazer.

Here are my fave versatile knit picks which you can find in-centre!

  1. Max viscose “Taylor” frill cuff batwing sweater $99.99 | 2. NorthSouth diamond foil curved hem merino knit from Farmers $139.99 | 3. Pagani acrylic wrap front sweater $59.99 | 4. Glassons v-neck cotton/acrylic blend jumper $39.99 | 5. Just Jeans “Harley” spot viscose blend pullover $69.95

Knits don’t have to just be big, chunky jumpers. I hope this gives you a few more ideas on how to work knits into your everyday wardrobe!

Until Next Time,

Happy Shopping
