Why has Centre Place introduced a new ticketless parking system?

Our old ticket-based parking system was just that, old. The new system means a quicker and easier experience for our customers, in line with the latest in parking system technologies.

It also means that we don’t need to use tickets anymore which also makes it better for the environment and you don’t need to get your parking validated which saves you time.

How does the new ticketless parking system work

The new parking system is based on licence plate recognition. On entry there is no boom gate or tickets issued, so you can drive in straight in.

Before you leave, enter your license plate number into the Pay Station near the lifts on the Ground Floor and Level 1. Pay by PayWave or Eftpos is available on the Ground Floor only.

If you breach the terms and conditions of the car park or exit the car park without making your payment, then you may be issued with a breach notice from Atlas Enforcement. Atlas Enforcement will post breach notices to the address registered under the owner of the vehicle. Breach notices will NOT be placed on vehicle’s windshield.

If this happens, please refer to the details on the back of the notice to see how to pay or appeal your ticket.

What if I don’t know my licence plate?

Usually, people can recall their number plate. If you need to pay a fee for parking and don’t know your car’s number plate, we suggest you return to their vehicle, make a note of it and then come back to the pay machine. It is one of those things that people learn very quickly.

How do I pay for my parking?

For CASUAL parking you must pay at the pay stations located on the Ground Floor and Level 1.

For EARLY BIRD parking you must pay via the Park360 website.
