GET BEACH READY AT WESTGATE LIFESTYLE

But the sun and calmer days have pushed their way through and I’m hoping it’s now safe to say “summer is here” and therefore let’s get beach (or lake) ready. Bring it on, I say. It’s not just time to leap in and enjoy our wonderful NZ climate it’s also time to go shopping to spend those Christmas vouchers and enjoy the sales. I’m writing this immediately pre-Christmas, so some of the prices of my selected items may well be reduced post-Christmas – actually, there are already some hot prices out there. Ah, life is just so good at this time of the year. So, without further ado, let me tell you a wee bit about some of my recent finds. I have beach towels, towelling ponchos (both pink and blue stripes available) and umbrellas – and a sun shelter if more than an umbrella is required.   Along with the body boards, I found an adult kick board, and a whole host of sunhats at Rebel Sport More than one store at Westgate Lifestyle offers chilly bin/bag options so we’re spoilt for choice on that front. Because the summer holidays should be about lounging and putting the feet up, I have included a hammock from Freedom and an example of a cool beanbag chair from NOOD. Life will seem extra good if you return from a day enjoying sun and sand to a backyard barbecue … and an outdoor bar fridge would be next level. This is a somewhat shorter blog than normal because there’s fun to be had out there. Let’s all go and enjoy!
