CELEBRATING THE OUTDOORS THIS SPRING AT SYLVIA PARK LIFESTYLE

Daylight savings is around the corner, and with it, a heap of extra hours to enjoy in the sun. Keep reading to see our best buys from Sylvia Park Lifestyle to do just that!

Spring’s got her moody face on. One day, sunny, next day gloomy. But, regardless of where that barometer reading sits, there’s no stopping daylight saving, which is nigh! And I’m excited, as with that springing forward in time and adjustment of sunrise and sunset comes the time to dial up some sun… and fun.

That promise of summer marks the time to officially start celebrating the outdoors. And, that’s what I am doing here. It’s time to plan picnics and holidays, get the kids out spinning the bike wheels, commit to that gym membership (Jetts Gym awaits), get out in the garden, dust off and maybe add to the outdoor furniture – how about an outdoor fridge, a lounger, a wind chime? With those things in mind, and with a spring in my step (I couldn’t resist that), I went shopping to check out product. And hence, the bike from Torpedo 7, and buggy and trike from Baby City, and the various outdoor seating options (of which I’m presenting merely a taste). It may be that you feel inspired to tweak the décor to reflect the change of season – the likes of tropical-themed candles and a bright botanical print are a good start.

Of course, some people associate Spring with cleaning, and for those, a trip to vacuum cleaner land – aka Godfreys – could be in order. Different strokes for different folks. I’m off to the Coffee Club and then to buy a bike. My husband has a significant birthday looming and, with a new bike, he’ll be celebrating Spring in style.
