Sink into a sun lounger and enjoy the music, games, food and live entertainment from Saturday 25 January for TEN blissfully good weekends of Play in the Park.

We are so lucky to have 6 amazing groups who will be entertaining us over the coming weeks.

Shows run 2:00pm – 4:45pm. Grab a chair and some yummy food from The Grove Dining District and enjoy!

Fare Thee Well

Fare Thee Well is an acoustic duo of 2 siblings who found success on NZ X Factor.

They take classic songs and rearrange them into their own unique acoustic style with stunning harmonies.

Whether you need an upbeat party set or background music, Fare Thee Well is the duo that will deliver.

Jane & Jasper

Brother and sister duo Jasper & Jane Hawkins bring a magical synergy to the stage, captivating audiences wherever they go with a sound that has been likened to that of Simon & Garfunkel and Fleetwood Mac. 

They have an extensive repertoire of cover music from old classics to modern hits so whether you are looking for some laid back summer tunes or some party tunes; these are the guys for you.

High Society

Ra Charmian is a gifted vocalist who has spent the last 10 years performing at the highest level in the world’s most celebrated hotels in 10 different countries. Performing acoustically with multi-instrumentalist Hayden Booth as High Society, the duo offers a selection of laid back soul, classic hits and acoustic takes on modern songs.

Radio Radio is a covers duo playing a wide range of styles including modern indie/folk, country classics, pop hits and old-school rock & roll. They also perform as the three piece group, Coachella.

These guys bring huge amounts of energy with their unique style and music. 

They promise to entertain.

Luna Duo

Luna Duo

Luna Duo creates the perfect chilled out atmosphere for any event, delivering fun renditions of classic hits by injecting her cultural influence into playful, bilingual mashups of well-known pop songs.

Featuring acoustic guitar and cajon percussion, Luna Duo is the perfect accompaniment to any afternoon in the sun

Jaime & Chet

Jaime & Chet

Acoustic duo Jaime and Chet’s sound can be simply summed up as “everything under the sun”. They cover every genre imaginable, and do it well. Chet is in constant demand has shared the stage with guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel, and been involved with opening for artists such as Dr John, Joe Cocker, Kenny Rogers and Cher.

 Jaime formed legendary Auckland covers act Hands Off (see below) in 1999, who was the band of choice for events such as Rugby World Cup 2011, Auckland Rugby League 9s, 2018 Volvo Ocean Race, TVNZ Annual awards nights and many more.

Hands Off

Hands Off is an Auckland based covers band that provides a fun, enjoyable and energetic live performance.

With a repertoire that covers top 40 hits, popular music, disco, 80’s, classics and rock, Hands Off always entertains. And with our ‘try anything once’ attitude, requests are always welcome.
