A great family movie filled with giggles and drama.

The infamous Dr. John Dolittle (Robert Downey Jr.), who can talk to the animals, hides away from the real world behind the walls of Dolittle Manor with his exotic menagerie of animals for company after losing his wife.

However, the manor gifted to him by the Queen for his services to her royal pets is under threat when the young queen (Jessie Buckley) falls gravely ill.

A very hesitant Dolittle is forced to set sail on an epic quest joined by self-appointed apprentice Stubborns (Harry Collett) and a his animal friends.

This includes an anxious gorilla (Rami Malek), a bird-brained duck (Octavia Spencer), a cynical ostrich (Kumail Nanjiani), an upbeat polar bear (John Cena), and his trusted advisor, a headstrong parrot (Emma Thompson).

The quest to find a cure sees Dolittle regain his wit and courage as he crosses old adversaries, and discovers wondrous creatures – which includes assistance from Whales, a tiger that wants to eat him for lunch, AND a dragon with a sore tummy!

Doolittle is a lighthearted feel good movie that the kids will love.
